World Voyage Planner - Amazed

Bill and I are currently circumnavigating aboard BeBe and own most of Jimmy Cornell's books. Our copies of "World Cruising Routes" and World Cruising Destinations" are bookmarked, earmarked, pencil-marked, and coffee stained. We have used them extensively on our circumnavigation.
In the past few months Jimmy's new books have become available. We received "Cornell's Ocean Atlas: Pilot Charts for All Oceans of the World" (Ocean Atlas) several months ago and just received "World Voyage Planner." I opened "World Voyage Planner" and closed it 5 hours later. I can sum up my opinion in one word, amazed!
Our first two books by Jimmy were priceless, filled with the best ocean sailing and circumnavigating information available...every circumnavigator I know agrees with this. His latest book, "World Voyage Planner," is jam-packed full of the best information available today...and we all know how information has improved in the past 10 years! "World Voyage Planner" is well organized AND it is very easy to use...I could not believe it. Pick an Ocean, then a departure point...go to the contents pages, then flip to the page and there it is. Jimmy adds facts about the weather, wind, currents and ports all over the world. In fact every route in every ocean and at every season is available in this book.
The "World Voyage Planner" is full of planning charts, pilot charts, tables and really great photographs. Additionally, Jimmy included comments and personal short stories from several well known experts. You will find these added to the pages of the destinations.
If you are going to sail any of the world's oceans or circumnavigate the world, the first book you should own is "World Voyage Planner" and the second one is "Cornell's Ocean Atlas: Pilot Charts for All Oceans of the World."

Great Book for Planning a Voyage

If you're dreaming about a voyage or just an armchair sailor this book is loaded with the information you need for planning the correct time to begin that voyage. This book not only opens your eyes on how to plan the trip but what alternatives you have to consider before you cast off the lines and point your boat off shore. This is one of those books you want in your library. Blue skies and fair winds to you.

I can't put it down.

I've been enjoying all of Jimmy Cornell's books. They are very well put together and this one compliments the other books I have.
