Watch for errors and mistakes in content in this book

Be very careful! Watch for errors and mistakes in content in this book. I will give you an example from a end-of-chapter test question:
"What is the maximum number of intervals that can be stored by vSphere Data Protection?"
a:24
b:8
c:16
d:32
The book states that the correct answer is "32"
By searching the book, the only reference to "intervals" points to the vSphere Replication feature and the stated maximum interval is 24.
So, this means that either the chapter question was wrong, or the information in the text was wrong, or there are chapter questions that refer to material that is not covered in the text.
The truth is, once the authors finished the book, they did not want to spend the time and expense of doing additional fact-checking or review-editing of the material.
This book is sold as a "certification guide". If nothing else, the information should be accurate. If not, the whole book has to be considered suspect. Do you want to spend your money on a certification voucher, take the test, and miss questions because of errors in the guide? Do you think the publisher or authors will reimburse you?
Do a google search on the exact phrase of the question that I stated. You will see it.
